Dubuque Orthopaedic Surgeons, P.C. is a general practice orthopaedic group who has chosen to maintain a high level of excellence in all areas of orthopaedic surgery, rather than limiting our area of practice expertise. We treat the vast majority of orthopaedic problems and pride ourselves on both the conservative, non-surgical approach to musculoskeletal ailments, as well as surgical remedies that may become necessary when time, nature and non-surgical means do not produce an acceptable outcome. As general orthopaedic surgeons, we are each familiar with and specialize in joint replacement for advanced arthritis, sports medicine, the treatment of traumatic injuries, arthroscopy, hand surgery and cervical and lumbar spine disc surgery.

As orthopaedic physicians, we attempt to achieve non-surgical resolution of symptoms in most cases. This often includes a variety of ancillary medical services, including physical therapy and occupational therapy. In addition, there is an extremely talented cadre of other medical specialists in Dubuque that work with us as a team in the treatment of musculoskeletal difficulties.

We are arthritis specialists and surgeons and deal with all levels of arthritis and its treatment, from maintenance to restoration and finally joint replacement surgery when necessary.

For years, we have been involved in the care of Dubuque area athletes, at the grade school, high school, college and adult levels. Sports Medicine is a part of our practice and we utilize all current training and physical therapy techniques in rehabilitating our patients to full recovery, not only for athletes but for our "non-athletic" patients as well.

We maintain a high level of expertise in diagnosis and treatment of spine related disorders. We offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment of lumbar and cervical spine conditions, including worn out and ruptured discs, and chronic and acute pain originating from the spine.
